Ponyboy is a greaser but he feels like a outsider because he is in to getting good grades and school. Ponyboy has the greaser look but he hates socs. The socs are a group of people who are the high and mighty group just think of a upper class but with more anger. Ponyboy is really a man who cares more about grades and school than kicking back and getting into fights. I would agree with Ponyboy If as him I would feel out of place.
